A Busy Thanksgiving

Over Thanksgiving, Luke, Kailani and I went up to Mom and Ken's for a few days. Our time was full of lots of family and fun. Stu, Sheila and the kids joined us up there. And we also celebrated Ken's birthday with Stacey and Christine's families. Kai-Kai was so happy when she saw cousin Matthew. Her face lit up and she pointed at him. They jabbered in their own language and shared a hug and a kiss.

Then the "Big Day", Andi and Paul's wedding. The first wedding that Kailani was invited to be in. She was a flower girl with her cousin Sally. She walked down the isle with Sally and Samuel. All three of them did a great job and made it down the isle. Kailani loved her dress and wanted to be the center of attention the whole time.

Kailani grabbing a snack before the ceremony.

Sally posing for pictures, while Kailani was not very sure of the whole thing.

After the wedding, Kailani had a hard time understanding why they did not want her in every picture.

Kailani can spot Uncle Cliff out of a crowd, whether he has a camera or not.

Kailani, Grandma Tina and Auntie Margie at the reception gearing up for dancing.

This was after 10:30pm the night of the wedding. Kailani would have stayed to dance but Luke and I were worn out. We were very thankful that we stayed overnight at a hotel a few blocks from the reception.

Refueling after a long day full of activities.

Bean Juice just wasn't doing the trick.

Maybe Daddy's drink will.

Don't worry the cap was still on.

If I were bigger I could get this cap off!!!

I enjoyed my first dim-sum. Thank you, Auntie Di and Uncle Clem.
